Advanced Cataract Surgery

Using the latest no-stitch techniques your cataract is removed through a tiny incision and replaced with an artificial lens implant.  We offer the latest in presbyopia correcting implants utilizing the Restor / Symfony Multifocal intraocular lens.  We also offer elimination or reduction of astigmatism with the Toric intraocular lens.  Our surgeons also offer cataract surgery using the Catalys femtosecond laser system which allows for more precise and safer surgery.  Surgery is performed on an outpatient basis and with either topical or local anesthesia.

Corneal Transplantation

The cornea is like the windshield of the eye.  Sometimes the clear tissue gets cloudy and needs to be changed.  With modern surgical techniques, corneal transplantation may be successful in over 90 % of patients.  A donor cornea is used to replace your diseased cornea.  The surgery is done on an outpatient basis and is often performed with local anesthesia.  We are currently offering the latest in posterior corneal transplantation procedures, known as DSEK (descemet's membrane stripping endothelial keratoplasty).  Ask your doctor if you may be a candidate.
